ive been saying it for years. there is no one in the game that makes it look as easy as anderson silva. some people like to argue guys like machida, fedor, BJ penn, etc...

i cant believe people actually started ranking machida higher P4P then anderson silva. machida has never in his career, shown the striking ability that silva has shown. that, wild haymaker flurry machida used to KO rashad isnt anywhere near as impressive as silva's clean striking. everytime someone looks halfway impressive in a fight, they are the next ones to beat silva. machida was that guy until shogun kicked his ass. personally, i was never a believer in machida. not even close. silva would school him and knock him out whenever he chooses to if that fight ever happens.

silva is on another level right now. he is on some matrix shit and no other fighter can touch him on the feet. some people argued melvin manhoef. once again, not even close. manhoef never had the chin to compete. his wide looping punches would make him an easy target for silva. one straight punch from silva would knock him into a coma. i wish the UFC would have signed melvin and threw him in an immediate fight with silva. this would have been an epic, 30 second fight where silva knocks him out with the first punch of the fight. never getting touched in the process!

K-1 strikers are overrated as fuck IMO. i love it when people bring up this "K-1 level striking" and assume because so and so had a career in K-1, he would automatically destroy anyone in a stand up fight. results have proved differently

silva could go into K-1 and whoop the shit out of every last one of those chinless wonders in tournament style fights!

here is a clip of anderson silva sparring at the wild card gym against legit pro boxers and more then hold his own. he lets dude tee off on him with free shots just to prove his chin is solid. absolutely schools the guy. not even trying! freddie roach has nothing but great things to say about silva's hands. he is truely world class. put machida in the same situation, they would be mopping grease stains off the canvas after he gets brutally knocked out. silva is a different story!

Belfort is the best stand up fighter he has faced. I can't wait for this. Anderson will have to use his kicks because Belfort has better hands

That sparring session was impressive. He definitely knows how to jab and reach in the ring.
