Punchers chance is probably the only way to beat GSP. His wrestling and BJJ are off the hook good. Someone needs to go Serra on him to beat him.

paulo thiago is my favorite fighter in the division. dude has KO power and world class BJJ. he also has wallid ismail as his english translator which kinda defeats the whole purpose but its fucking awesome either way!

if anyone beats GSP i want it to be paulo thiago

I think Diaz may be fighting at another level at this point. I'd like to see GSP vs Nick Diaz.

I think that is his best opponent but he is in strikeforce.

nick diaz is my favorite fighter currently competing so i might be alittle biased.

the ONLY way GSP beats nick is by lay and pray. he is not going to KO nick, he sure as hell wont submit nick, the only advantage GSP has is wrestling. its a hell of an advantage but my money is on the underdog diaz. he has been wrecking opponents with his boxing to the point that we dont even get to see his ground game anymore. nick has improved so much over the years. he is the only MMA fighter that uses boxing effectively imo. he is the only fighter that really works the body with combinations that ive seen. the results speak for themselves. after a few body shots, his opponents are usually back pedaling, almost doubled over in pain. all their energy is sapped and when you are in this state, nick continues to work the body. completely fucks his opponents up. he mixes shots to the head and body like no other fighter in MMA.

that is what effective boxing can do in MMA. other fighters need to take note and learn from diaz. he is breaking new ground in MMA.

Co-sign.

Aside from the Gomi fight (which was a fucking classic), who has he beaten since he left UFC?

Frank Shamrock
Zaromskis (This guy was ranked)
Scott Smith
Thomas Denny
Inoue

Diaz would not be outclassed. It is a tough fight for GSP that he probably wins. If GSP wrestles him then he has to worry about Diaz Guard. If he stands he has to worry about his boxing. I think GSP would win by ground work but it would be a competitive fight.

I'm not saying GSP would run over Diaz, I would like to see the fight actually. But I don't think Diaz wins it.
