I'm not sure. I saw an interview where Dana explains Toney's arrogance. Toney's been following Dana around and hounding him about signing him. So Dana asks, "do you have any sort of wrestling training?" Toney says "Ya, I know all that shit." Then Dana rolls his eyes...

Maybe Dana's made some stipulations about Toney training mma since then. I'm not sure. One thing I know UFC.com says nothing about signing James.

actually i heard that toney was a high school wrestler so he has some experience. toney claims his "pops" was a "death fighter" in india

the press conferences are going to be GOLD! hopefully UFC matches toney up with a fighter that allows him to showcase his world class hands. kimbo, kongo, barry, hardonk, etc... i want to see toney fight one of those guys.
