"Walujew gibt sein Okay für Fight gegen Klitschko

Dem Schwergewichtskampf zwischen Nikolai Walujew und WBC-Champ Witali Klitschko steht nichts mehr im Wege. "Ich will gegen Witali boxen", erklärte der 2,13-Meter-Riese."

"Valuev gives his o.k. for the fight against Klitschko

Nothing stands in the way for the Heavyweight Fight between Nikolai Valuev and WBC-Champ Vitali Klitschko. "I want to box Vitali", explains the 2,13-meter-giant"

Seems they still have to negotiate about some tv-rights. But that should not be a problem according to Chris Meyer Sauerland Event

I hope this happens. Would be interesting to see Vitali as the smaller guy.

I think it will be interesting too. Vitali is used to throwing over the top and down on guys trying to rush under him.

And it would be something to see if he can cut Valuev down. I have to imagine if he is ever knocked off his feet, he doens't get back up. Like King Hippo.

I think Vitali has some trouble in this fight. He will be punching up. He won't be able use his reach against a shorter man this time. He is used to clinching and leaning on small guys. I think he wins but Vlauev might have some moments in the early going.

Awesome. This was literally the only fight out there, as the Klitschkos have done quite a thorough job of cleaning out the division.

I assume he'll beat Valuev, then KO David Haye and retire.

It will be very interesting if Valuev is any better against big guys. He hasn't fought anyone Vitali's size, and he's been fighting mostly ex-cruiserweights or guys who are 6-2ish for a pretty long stretch. I think Lyakovich is the biggest guy he's fought in recent memory, and he was only 6'4 and sucked. Vitali may be unable to hurt Valuev and tire out from hitting him over and over. Valuev is a giant Homer Simpson, and a guy Vitali's size is too big for Valuev to miss leaning on. 320 pounds is a lot of weight to hold up for 36 minutes. I think this fight will be a good barometer of how much Vitali has left. If Vitali can't smash this guy or at least hit him at will for 12 rounds, a Vitali Haye fight gets a lot more intriguing.

Make the fight asap. Hopefully Vitali rids us of Valuev forever.

I dont see anyway that Valuev wins this. Valuev is basically a freakshow learning on the job. Vitali is a fighter, sure he might have a bit of problem with the height, but not nearly enough to give Valuev a chance of winning. Valuev is too slow, Vitali has good defense for the most part and will be able to elude Valuev lumbering feather fists. It will be a great fight to watch though.

The Heavyweights seemed to be getting their act together.

Vitali vs Valuev
Adamek vs Arreola
Wlad vs Chambers

pretty interesting set of fights.

I'd have to go with Vitali based on the fact that he is a better fighter, Arreola because 1. he's a mexican from Riverside!!! REPRESENT!!! and he's a bigger fighter who throws at damn near the same punch rate... And Wlad will KO Chambers inside of 10... Chambers isnt ready, and takes too much time off in rounds.

And the next round of fights will be

Vitali vs Haye
Wlad vs Povetkin

Plus Odlanier Solis is fighting Carl Davis Drumond and Ruslan Chagaev is supposedly fighting again soon.

You mean aside from ducking the only legitimate heavyweight champion since Lummox retired? The only man on earth who could defeat the greatest fighter ever, Floyd Mayweather? The only heavyweight who has the balls and the power to make Valuev do the Judah Shuffle? The one, the only GOD HAYE. Vitali is a cowardly worm who will fake 6 injuries as usual, and then take on a stiff.

This is an interesting fight but I don't see it being anything special.

Neither are all that exciting but it would be cool to see vitali try and cope with that size difference.

A valuev win isn't a bad thing, as maybe vitali would quit and wlad would chase revenge.

Then we may be one step closer to unifying, but I guess that's me being too hopefull.

A valuev win makes him a three times "champ" though!
