That Cruz kid is something else. His footwork, head movement, strike angles...insane.

Overall, I thought that was a pretty damn good card.

Yep, very good card from top to bottom, although I didn't like watching Pulver get pulverized yet again. My favorite fight was Bart Palaszewski v. Karen Darabedyan. 4 and a half minutes of total domination by Darabedyan followed by a sudden, surprising reversal of fortune when Palaszewski finally got the armbar he had been attempting for much of the first round. Supposedly Darabedyan has a few no gi grappling championships under his belt. You would think he wouldn't be so cavalier about exposing himself to armbars like that.

How many times is Pulver going to give us the tear filled half goodbye after getting his ass kicked?

It's getting hard to watch.

yeah that fight was awesome. bart was getting beat down pretty bad. i dont know if it was his hair flying around but everytime he got hit with anything it looked really bad. he got lit up when they were standing and on the ground dude was landing BOMBS as well. bart proved he is tough as nails to be able to pull off that sub under fire like that.

thats the difference between sport BJJ guys and MMA BJJ guys. you could have a guy like dean lister who has all the BJJ credientials in the world or a guy like dave terrel. they are world class BJJ but couldnt cut it in MMA because they cant take hits. they would easily sub bart in sport BJJ but in MMA my money is on a guy like bart.

DAMN TORRRES. I was in vegas and decided that was the best bet and loaded up on Torres.

I have never seen a fighter burn out almost overnight. one day Frank mir was calling him the P4P champ now he is getting thrashed two fights in a row.

Come on, man. You should've been able to see through that bullshit.

The guy's a B level fighter with a padded record...... and a massively inflated ego. I hope he continues to lose.

Me either. He apparently isn't the P4P king Mir said he was, or even the best in his weight class, but he's a good fighter. It's becoming clear that bantamweight is loaded with talent.

I was referring more to his pre-WEC career, but those guys aren't exactly top level talent either. And they certainly don't warrant a "best P4P" title when beaten.

There was just too much unjustified hype surrounding the guy. That's all I'm saying.

I think that's the deepest cut I've ever seen.

Just brutal.

I like how the bantamweight division is shaping up. Interestingly, Miguel Torres seems to be the low man on the totem pole now. I don't think you can favor him to beat Bowles, Benavidez or Cruz. Jorgensen has looked good too.

Torres cut is going to have a nasty scare. I hope he is already married because he is going to have a hard time finding a date with that Frankenstein scar. The life of a fighter is crazy.
