Hopefully the former is the correct one.

Want to see him get bludgeoned again.

I have long been on record saying I respected Ricky for breaking away from Frank, unlike Calzaghe, and taking a shot at the truly big time.

However, in hindsight, I think its foolish to conclude anything other than Frank Warren was ultimately right protecting him. He stepped up and got his head knocked off.

If he does come back, he'll get shredded by JMM.

He can't win. I'd tip him to lose to Bradley, Kahn, Alexander, Ortiz, Maidana, Nate Campbell, and probably a half dozen other fighters.

Very true. Without his cheating bullshit tactics, Tszyu would have beaten him too. Hatton's just a guy who was handled very carefully and made a lot of fame and fortune off of that.

And as shot as he might be, he probably has at least one big pay day left.

I still can't believe the referee let him get away with punching Kostya in the face like that.

While holding the back of his head or his other arm, and in-between low-blows and constant clinches.

C'mon GOAT, that was a shit fight. Because of Hatton's illegal tactics. Watch it again, it's 'orrible.

Yeah, I so tire of hearing how Kostya was like some poor defenseless battered wife in that one.

Kostya should have resorted to fighting with equally dirty tactics. He had more honor than that, so he got screwed.

You have had a hard-on for Hatton for five years since that fight. Who threw the first low blow? Kostya. You, my friend, are the one who needs to watch it again. There was some holding, by both fighters, but it wasn't nearly as bad as you and the other Hatton haters make it out to be. Most of the time it was just good, rough infighting.

This highlight clip is pretty representative of what happened in the fight:

It was a very entertaining fight with nonstop action, and the only part of it I didn't enjoy was seeing Kostya quit after the 11th.

Actually, Kostya hit him with a shot right on the belt line that should've been scored a legitimate knockdown. At absolute worst is was an accidental borderline shot.

Hatton got up and IMMEDIATELY blasted him right in the balls. It is one of the most obvious, blatant and deliberate low blows I can recall.

The rest of the spoiling tactics of the fight I don't have a huge problem with, but that low blow was a flat out disgrace.

I thought this was going to be about a heart transplant, after seeing how fat he looks recently! ph34r.gif

Truthfully, this is the best decision for him. He had some good fights and I think for the most part people will remember him favorably.

Why is everyone so hot on JMM he looked like dogshit against Floyd. JMM didn't even crack the top 10 of toughest fights Floyd had.
