I don't hear nearly as much talk about David Haye is going to do this, or he is goign to do that.

Can I take this to mean that the majority of you ahve come around that he is about as interested in fighting a Klitschko as I am in having the hench over for Christmas?

I imagine a few of you are just too dug in to give any ground, but it seems that group is shrinking.

Your false god has just let Shannon Briggs take his title fight without even putting up an argument.

And Wlad? I think he pretends he doesn't know Wlad exists.

Hell, I don't think Haye would even take a fight with Peter. None of the heavies he's faced before were really ferocious KO artists.

To still support Haye in this crusade is to be be upfrotn about being totally disconnected from reality, and not care.

Haye wants to be a celebrity and a belt-holder. He's the first in some peoples' minds, the second most assuredly, and he doesn't seem to want anything more than that. Let him fight Harrison or Sprott or some other non-entity across the pond, retire, and get the belt in the hands of someone who wants to make something happen.

Which is fine. He can be the black Joe Calzaghe of the HWs.

Just spare me how he's looking for big fights against real challengers. He ain't.

He's had a serious case of laryngitis, recently, at least looking at the absence of his comments from most boxing news sites in the past couple months.

Here's what Haye has done:

- Beat Valuev
- Got a belt
- Beat Ruiz

That is more than Viturdi has accomplished in his entire career. Fact. Undeniable. Since then, he's had another kid and taken a break. Frankly, after two back to back big fights, he is fully entitled to fight a tomato can or a tune up.

Everything else is supposition and bullshit. EVERYTHING. If you want to come in here and peddle some Bitschko lies, I can peddle some lies from Haye. But the facts are what they are: Haye has marched into the division, won a belt and has beaten more relevant fighters than the "great" Viturdi has.

This is some 3 card monte shit right here. Wlad's the one trying to get him in the ring right now, and Wlad's accomplishments at hw shit all over Haye's.

You, me and everyone in the world outside of Wlad have no idea how hard Wlad is "trying." Honest DB deals in facts.

Well, let's see, he actually negotiated a fight last year, that fell through when Haye faked an injury(when his own financing fell through). He then called him out on youtube after his win over Ruiz, approached his promoter and tried to make a deal, many of the details of which have been reported and largely undisputed...the gist of it is that it was a better offer than the one Haye signed off on already last year, and may in fact have been for a 50-50 split of all revenue, with no options. Although Booth has asserted it wasn't 50/50, no further commentary on the deal has emerged from Team Haye, even though the negotiations are clearly over for 2010.
Haye has fragile hands which apparently prevent him from fighting more than twice a year, and has repeatedly stated he's retiring at the end of next year, which makes him a very unlikely savior for the division. By my math, that means he's got three fights left, one of which will be the mandatory defense against Chagaev. If he fights a total scrub this fall/winter, that means he'll have exactly one chance to fight Wlad in the second half of 2011, because Vitali will have retired already. Not encouraging.

Haye has some good wins, but the fact that he called out the Klitschkos for 2 years to get his notoriety, and then ducked them repeatedly even after signing contracts, is pure bitchery. Haye will probably fight, and beat, someone like Ruslan Chagaev next, which is another nice win, but Haye was comparing himself to Muhammad Ali, repeatedly claimed to be the savior of the heavyweight division, and more importantly, was contractually obligated to fight the Klitschkos, reneged, then ducked them again over the last year. It's bitch move after bitch move, and unless Haye fights one of the Klitsckos by early 2011 at the latest, I will never consider him anything but a bitch.
